Orientation Session for Newly Transferred Students to NVPS

On Tuesday 20 January, the newly transferred students gathered in the Multi-Purpose Room to be introduced to all aspects of the school so that their educational and personal goals can be supported. The one-hour orientation session also aimed to familiarize them with the school environment and physical facilities.

First, they were welcomed by the PML teachers in charge of the New Student Induction Programme before they proceeded to play the NVPS Amazing Race where they are placed in groups to go to certain parts of the school to complete tasks. They had fun exploring the school and taking ‘wefies’ of themselves.

Afterwards, they were introduced to the 4 school values of NVPS. Our vice-principals, Mr Wong and Mr Haniff, then formally welcomed them to NVPS and encouraged them to work hard and enjoy their time to school. Overall, it was an enjoyable session for all participants.
