Key Highlights

• 2nd Runner Up for Boys’ Brigade Adventure Quest 2017

A total of 379 Primary 6 BB Boys from 42 BB Companies formed 86 teams to participate in the BB Adventure Quest (Juniors Programme) on 18 March 2017. The event kicked off at the Pasir Ris Sports Centre (PRSC). The adventure race required the Boys to navigate from PRSC to Pasir Ris Park and to Pasir Ris Crest Secondary school on their own. There was a total of 6 stations for this event, namely, Spartan Race, Can you knot?, Battle Aid, Heavy Arms, Coloseum and The Last Stand.

Lok Ting Yuan (6 Joy), Damian Wee Chin Kiat (6 Joy), Goh Kai Teck (6 Faith) and Benson Lee (6 Courage) represented 120J Singapore Company from North View Primary School in the Adventure Quest. They emerged 2nd Runner up in the Quest overtaking teams from Fairfield Methodist School (Primary), St. Hilda’s Primary School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School, North Vista Primary School and many others. Congratulations to our BB team!

BB Character Quest

The Boys' Brigade Character Quest is a race where the lessons learnt at Company level are applied in the context of character development. There is an exciting array of activities such as charades and crossword puzzles that revolve around a theme that takes our Boys on a learning quest that tests their character values.

The Boys Brigade Share-a-Gift

The BB Share-a-Gift project is an annual national community service project that mobilises more than 3,500 BB Officers and Boys and hundreds of volunteers to collect grocery items and gifts from thousands of Singaporeans for distribution to the needy. The theme “Have a Heart, Share a Gift” summarises the project’s objectives to bring cheer and relief to the less fortunate during the festive season.
